One of the most common questions we’ve heard from fans planning their trip to Roswell for the 2025 National Championship Air Races is: Will there be local public transportation to the event?
We’re excited to share that the answer is yes—and it’s free! Thanks to Roswell Transit, visitors will have convenient, reliable complimentary shuttle service from hotels, motels, and local Airbnb properties throughout the Roswell area straight to the races.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Pickup Service: Roswell Transit will operate 12-passenger buses that pick up guests directly from local lodging. To schedule a ride, simply call 575-624-6766. (With four phone lines available, staff will be ready to assist promptly.)
- Main Transfer Station: All passengers will first be brought to the central transfer hub at 515 N. Main Street.
- Dedicated Race Shuttles: From the transfer station, two to three dedicated buses will shuttle fans out to the race venue. Depending on traffic, buses are expected to arrive at the races roughly every 30–40 minutes.
- Cost: All rides to and from the races are absolutely free for NCAR fans.
Operating Hours
- September 10–12: 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- September 13–14 (Weekend): 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM (extended from normal weekend hours)
Roswell Transit will have two shifts of employees daily, with additional staff on standby, ensuring smooth service for the thousands of visitors expected in Roswell.
