Roswell, NM – National Championship Air Races organizers have decided to postpone the rest of the day’s races and performances due to rain and thunderstorms in the area. Flight operations will cease today at 1:45 p.m. With safety always at the forefront of our events, the decision was made out of caution for the pilots, the ability for emergency services to perform their duties and the comfort of everyone in attendance. The remainder of Saturday’s races will be included in Sunday’s schedule and organizers will honor all Saturday (including parking, pit, etc.) ticket purchases for Sunday, Sept. 14. Those with reserved seats and daily boxes for Saturday will be reassigned as needed for Sunday and will receive new ticket confirmations via email. Scheduled updates will be posted on NCAR’s Facebook and Instagram pages – as well as here on the website – as soon as possible.
