We are excited to announce…

…that The Reno Air Racing Association is hosting a special Heritage Aircraft Display to commemorate 2023 being the last air racing event at Reno-Stead Airport!

The traditional National Aviation Heritage Invitational (NAHI) vintage aircraft competition will not take place this year. Instead, the normal NAHI qualification of vintage aircraft (those at least 45 years old) will be expanded to also include racing aircraft from the National Championship Air Races’ 59 years of history in Nevada.

Fans will have the opportunity to see colorful race planes, meet their crews, and experience the amazing legacy of the National Championship Air Races. Patrons who come to see the NAHI display will be greeted by a fantastic assortment of aviation history as well, as the turnout of vintage aircraft is expected to be quite large for this last installment at Reno-Stead.

Be sure to join us September 13-17 at Reno-Stead Airport to see this special addition to the event. Tickets are continuing to sell quickly, so get your tickets today to see the checkered flag fly one final time in Reno.
