Tickets for the 2017 National Championship Air Races on sale!

Qualifications for all classes will start on Monday at 8am on September 11th and end at noon on Wednesday September 13th. We will begin racing around noon on Wednesday September 13th with all classes except the Unlimiteds, which will start racing on Thursday afternoon. All classes race each day starting at 8am and continue non-stop until 4:30pm. There are three heats for each class each day. In between the heats, there will be a world class airshow to keep the action in the skies above Stead Airfield.

Tickets will be available on our website throughout the event. Only Checkered Flag Club and Box Seating tickets may be purchased through the office. Parking passes may be purchased at each of the parking lots. There are many ticket options for experiencing this one of a kind of event listed below. You can place ticket orders through the website and print them up through Race Week (Sept. 13-17). They will be scanned upon entrance at the gate or they can be purchased at the gate. All orders for RV Parking and Box Seats will still be taken up until race week through the office at (775)972-6663.
General Admission and Pit Passes
General Admission tickets allow guests into the concession area behind the grandstands, static displays and the Drone Zone as well as non-reserved seating in the general grandstands. To purchase General Admission tickets, click here.
Pit passes allow guests to get up close and personal with the Unlimited, T-6, Sport, Formula 1 and Biplane aircraft as well as some of our performance aircraft on display. To purchase Pit Passes, click here.
Reserved seating allows guests to ensure they have their seat in the reserved grandstand along with entry into the concession area behind the grandstands, the Drone Zone and Jet aircraft pits. To purchase Reserved Seats, click here.
Full box seats and Daily box seats are available.
There are 3 rows of boxes. The cost of the first (A row) is $3800.00 for 10 seats. Each additional seat is $380.00. The 2nd (B Row) is $3600.00 for 10 seats, additional seats are $360.00. The 3rd (C Row) is $3500.00 for 10 seats, additional seats are $350.00. Daily Box Seats are in the C Row.

Where to Park
The reserved automobile parking area, located within the main gate (L5 on the site map), is within easy walking distance of the grandstands, box seating and pit entrance. Parking reservations may be purchased in advance at (775) 972-6663 or purchase them at the parking lot. Vehicles may not remain in any automobile parking lot overnight.
Handicap parking is available for vehicles displaying official handicap plates or placards. Shuttle service is provided from the handicap parking lot to the main gate.
There are two reserved parking areas for recreational vehicles. The Optimist Lot is located north of Echo Avenue, east of Mt. Vida St. and across from Gate 2. The West Lot is located at the far west end of the field, west of the RARA hangar. RV permits are for the entire event only. No daily permits for RVs are available. Handicap (Daily) is $10.00, Season is $50.00. Reserved: Wednesday, Thursday $25.00 each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday $30.00 each day. Season $125.00.
