Shuttle service by Amador Stage Lines is available from major downtown locations to and from Stead Field, the site of the Air Races from Wednesday 10 September 2008 - Sunday 14 September 2008.

On Wednesday 10 September 2008, there will be shuttle service from the Reno/Sparks locations below and Reno Stead Field at 8 AM and 10 AM, with return service from Reno Stead Field at 4:30 PM.

Shuttles operate in both directions between the Reno/Sparks locations below and Reno Stead Field between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM each day Thursday through Sunday. Between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM there is only one-way return service from Reno Stead Field to Reno/Sparks locations below.

Reno/Sparks Shuttle Service Locations

Shuttle service will also be available to the above destinations on Sunday evening at the conclusion of the Awards Banquet. A shuttle ticket will be required, and tickets will be on-sale at the banquet.

Air Race Shuttle ticket sales are being handled through the Reno Soroptomist Club. You may purchase your shuttle tickets in advance Thursday 11 September 2008 - Sunday 14 September 2008 at the following locations and times:

• Grand Sierra [formerly Reno Hilton]: ticket booth in the Transportation Center located in the South lobby of the hotel, 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon
• El Dorado Hotel & Casino: outdoor ticket booth on 4th and Sierra Streets, 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon
• Reno Stead Field: Bus Loading Area near Main Gate [location labeled "G4" on the site map], 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM

The season shuttle pass and weekend shuttle pass may be purchased when you order your tickets by using the on-line order form.

Single-day shuttle tickets will also be available for purchase at each of the shuttle pick-up locations.

The site map [last updated on 7 Sept 2008] shows the best way to reach automobile parking, and indicates the locations of on-site facilities, grandstands, vendor areas, and aircraft.
